Pool Leak Repair

ShowerFix conduct pool leak repair services.

How can I tell if my pool is leaking?

It can be difficult to detect if you have a pool leak or if your pool is suffering water loss due to normal evaporation. One way to determine if your pool is leaking is to conduct an evaporation assessment. This can be done by almsot filling a bucket or other container with water from your pool. Place the container near your pool. Make sure it is in the same conditions as your pool – full sun etc. Mark the water line with a waterproof pen and leave the container for around 24 hours. If there is no difference in the drop in water between the pool and container it is safe to say your pool is not leaking.

Why pool leak repair is important

The reason it is so important to fix a leaking pool is the loss of water that the leak may incur. You could actually be losing enough water to fill your pool every year that is leaking. With water charges on the rise it is not feasible to allow a leaking pool to go unfixed. Leaks usually get worse over time so the quicker you attend to a leaking pool the better. Pool leaks can even compromise the foundation of your pool.
